Brugmansia 'Miner's Claim' This sport of ‘Frosty Pink’ has large nodding trumpet flowers with the same cream color deepening to pink. The stunning 5' tall deer resistant clump is laden in early summer, then again in the fall, with hundreds (when mature) of large, pendent, fleshy-pink, nocturnally fragrant flowers. However, the attractive broad, creamy white and light green marginal variegation on the foliage makes it much more eye-catching! The variegation also slows its growth rate making it a more desirable Brugmansia for containers and landscaping in warmer climates. 'Miner’s Claim' prefers rich soils, but requires very little light. Full shade will further slow its growth, creating an even more manageable form of the common Angel’s Trumpet. Origin: USA Description / Plant Notes: Patent Status: US Plant Patent: #15,747 |
