Buddleja Silver Anniversary
(‘Morning Mist’)

Buddleja Silver Anniversary has intensely silver leaves and highly scented white flowers which have no viable pollen. In 2003 it continued flowering from August to Christmas in the UK. To date the breeder has failed to set any seed on ‘Silver Anniversary’. A stronger grower than crispa or loricata, the silver is more intense than both its parents. A great contrast plant in the landscape complementing the perennials in any herbaceous border. Another use would also be as a first class foliage plant for the cut flower trade. If the stems are spliced at the base, it remains fresh in water 7-10 days.

Origin: United Kingdom

Description / Plant Notes:
• USDA Zone 7.  (0°F or -18°C).
• Unique elegant silver foliage.
• No viable pollen or seed set.

Patent Status: US PP #17,332
