Crocosmia Bright Eyes (‘Walbreyes’) This delightful selection is free flowering with up-right/front facing blooms which allow for a good presentation of the flowers. Vibrant yellow-orange trumpet flowers with deep red eyes appear mid to late summer on 18 to 24 inch stems. Dark green linear-lance shaped leaves. For better floral impact the inter-bud length is shorter. As is the case with most Crocosmias, ‘Bright Eyes’ does not overcrowd itself and it continues to bloom throughout the season. ‘Bright Eyes’ does well in garden or container specimens, accent plants, and as cut flowers. It has great visual impact from a distance too. Origin: United Kingdom Description / Plant Notes: Patent Status: US Plant Patent: #17,165 |
