Crocosmia 'Walberton Yellow'
Crocosmia 'Walberton Yellow' is free flowering with up-right/front facing blooms leading to good presentation of the golden-yellow flowers. Also for better floral impact the inter-bud length is shorter. As is the case with most Crocosmia, 'Walberton Yellow' does not inhibit its bloom potential as other Crocosmias do, when they overcrowd themselves at the base. Instead of the corms multiplying on top of each other, the breeder selects for varieties that will divide outward with age. Uses include garden or container specimen, accent plant, and as a cut flower. 'Walberton Yellow' is rabbit resistant too.
