This compact, long-blooming, hardy Dianthus has an exceptional habit, forming dense mounds of foliage. Beginning in spring, it is smothered with fragrant, double blooms with burgundy red centers on short stems. Plants can continue flowering into fall. This cultivar produces a gorgeous, uniform gallon crop due to great habit, vigor, and abundant bloom. Flower stems are sturdy and short, and do not flop. Perform s well in rockeries, borders, or in containers. Re-blooming. No vernalization required.
