Key Features |
This fantastic Hosta is a garden classic. The thick, dark green leaves are bordered with wide, jetting, golden yellow margins which fade to creamy white in summer when lavender colored flowers emerge. Hosta ‘Liberty’ likes full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Approximately 1-2 feet tall and twice as wide, this hosta has thicker, more substantial leaves then other mid-sized hostas making it very resistant to slugs. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants.
Hosta ‘Liberty’ has been named the American Hosta Growers Association 2012 “Hosta of the Year”. |
