Sedum Elsies Gold

Key Features

Sedum 'Elsie's Gold'
forms a spectacular bushy mound of serrated succulent green leaves with outstanding leaf margins that begin golden-yellow then by autumn age to cream. ‘Elsie’s Gold’ blooms midsummer in masses of small, star-shaped pink flowers packed together into flat-top heads much like broccoli. Each flower head begins pale at first, darkening over many weeks to a rich magenta by fall. Blooms may be cut and dried for arrangements. An excellent choice for beds and borders due to its attractive foliage and long lasting flowers as well as cold hardiness. It is also a magnet for butterflies.

Plugs and liners are now available from PP&L & Green Leaf Plants.

Large flat heads of small star shaped soft shell pink aging to deep magenta blooms.
