Liriodendron 'Little Volunteer'
Selected from a crop of tulip tree understock, ‘Little Volunteer’ may well become the ‘Little Gem’ magnolia of the Liriodendron world. Grower friendly in its ease of maintaining a central leader, ‘Little Volunteer’ can achieve 3” caliper in 3 years from transplanted 3-5’ liners. Excellent as a street tree or for the residential landscape. Finally a tulip poplar sized for the landscape.
