Yucca Bright Star (‘Walbrista’) Yucca Bright Star is a tri-color variegated plant with shades of ivory, pinks and greens. Cool conditions or water stress will bring out the pink in young plants, otherwise the pink color will appear when the plants get older. This is one gloriosa that is reliable in tissue culture so that consistency and uniformity can be achieved. Like most yucca, it’s slow growing with strong sword-like leaves. Bright Star develops a short woody stem and the leaves are broad and stiff similar to an Agave with a trunk. Drought tolerant, yucca is well suited for xeriscapes and in low-maintenance containers.
