Euphorbia SAHARA™ Blackbird
Euphorbia x martinii ‘Nothowlee’
Euphorbia x martinii SAHARA™ Blackbird = ‘Nothowlee’ was chosen for its compact, bushy habit and excellent foliage color. New growth is dark red, maturing to dark purple-black by late summer when grown in full sun. Yellow-green flowers in spring provide a striking contrast to the dark foliage, and bracts will also mature to almost black if left on the plants. Mature size is approximately 18″ with an equal spread. Euphorbia Blackbird is a perfect mixed container component, as well as a stunning addition to the garden. I ideal for winter containers combining well with spring bulbs and winter pansies.
